Home again, home again, jiggety jig………….
WOW! Been a month! Been on vacation to Arkansas to see my Dad, Colorado to see my Aunt Cheryl, Pooka had his 6th month checkup & shots, Bubba started school & i’ve put in job applications. Been a busy, busy month! Av turned 26 yesterday. He’s in California, so we sent him e-cards. We took Nikki with us on the trip. Was a long drive, but we survived & with the technological wonder of auto dvd/game players with dual screens a good, calm, mostly QUIET time was had by all! lol The babies did great. I was very proud of them. Bug had his dvd’s & Pooka had whatever the hell Pooka wanted! lol He spent most of the drive back, three days, in various stages of being in his carseat without actually being buckled into it! We had to sneak it buckled when he fell asleep or he’d scream bloody, blue murder! He’s gotta good pair of lungs that’s for sure! He had new foods, juices & even formula on the drive. He also got fed a lot when I wasn’t driving. Slept on a pillow on my lap when he wanted. He mostly wanted! lol Was good to see everyone after so long. We wont wait that long again that’s for sure. We’ll make plans for another trip next summer. With all the airline problems with terrorists & stuff i’m thinking i’m not flying to Europe next year. lol If I don’t go my kids don’t go. There’s a wedding Av needs to go to next August, but we’ll just have to see how things are next year. Icandowithoutbeingblownupoverthewaterkthanks! Five years today. Still makes you nervous to think about it. Makes you mad. Oh well. School pics for high school tomorrow, so have to get up to make sure the boys hair aint stickin’ straight up as usual! lol
